For things to go as smoothly as possible, we ask you to read this post and follow the rules.
1. Email subjects:
When emailing us, please include your LJ username and use one of the following templates:
username - SUBMISSION
username - EXTENSION
username - QUESTION
username - DROP-OUT
We'll try to reply to all email the day they were sent, but if after two days you don't receive a reply from us, please email us again.
2. If you need an extension or know you won't be able to complete your assignment, email us at the.ass.fest@gmail.com
Knowing that you'll need an extension will help us plan things and announcing us that you won't be able to finish writing will ensure that the pinch hitter who will pick up your prompt will have more time to write/draw.
3. Submission rules:
For fic
* Minimum word count for a fic is 2000 words.
* The rating should not be higher than the one specified by the giftee. Other than that, there are no rating restrictions.
* Your fic should be beta read and free of spelling and grammar issues. We will be fixing the occasional typo, but if there are obvious spelling issues or the correct canon spelling is disregarded, we will send the fic back for editing. Also, if there are plot holes or we feel that certain things have to be worked on, we will contact you to discuss the issues. Please don't be offended if we do, and remember that our goal is to have the best possible fics.
* The HTML formatting tags should be included in the file you send.

* Submit your fic in a .doc or .txt file which includes the text of the fic and the header given below.
* The fics that are longer than the LJ-set limit of 10.000 words will be split in several parts, according to their length. If this is the case for your fic, please include delimitators in the file you send to us.
For art
* Your work should be more complex than a sketch
* The rating should not be higher than the one specified by the giftee. Other than that, there are no rating restrictions.
* The images will be hosted on a photobucket account we'll set up for the fest. When submitting your work, please include the header given below and, if you have more than one picture, notes on how you want it to be displayed. The accepted formats are .png, .jpg and .bmp

Please don't give the names of your betas. You can include a general thank you for them, but not any names.
